Bought Far Cry 4 Gold on steam after about 8 hrs into a pirated/cracked version of it but it won't load my saves. I have tried various methods posted online such as admin rights and moving saves to Documents folder but nothing works. Is there hope or should I just get my $70 back and be thankful I demoed it..

Legit version save data should be located in. C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames (lots of numbers and letters)\46. If deleting save data from that folder still doesn't work then idk. Might look in Program Data and see if there's an Ubisoft folder in there that contains the saves. Reply.

Please help. For some reason, my games are being saved in the bin folder in the Far Cry 2 Steam directory and not in the "my Games" folder everyone says it is supposed to be in. For some reason on my 2nd playthrough all radio type messages in-game from Kim and others were not present. I had to delete the save file from pc, and disconnect from internet so that the old save file wouldn't load from cloud, and then on a fresh playthrough the voice messages returned. 3. r/farcry.
