Developer support for Kinect on Xbone petered out within its first year. Neat little piece of tech, but its applications for games limited. At this point its only real function is as a mic if your headset breaks or for the voice commands if you actually use them, as iirc they've patched out gesture navigation with the recent dashboard redesigns.

I’ve been using the official Microsoft one since day one Scorpio launch and it occasionally stops working. Usually I wiggle the usb cable a bit and it’ll come back on. Make sure you’re using the USB port directly next to the hdmi port on the back. It won’t work on any other usb on the Xbox. dancurranjr.
